SCROLL

SCROLL

8,849 metres. One thumb at a time.

The most repeated gesture of our era, almost invisible.

You will climb Everest with your thumb.

SCROLL is an interactive reading experience that turns the most ordinary gesture of our era into something visible, measurable, and impossible to ignore. During your ascent, every gesture you make will be recorded, every centimetre travelled will be counted, and your progress will be displayed in real time. Here, reading is not measured in pages, but in altitude.

Along the way, you will pass the Eiffel Tower, the Burj Khalifa, Mont Blanc. You will cross camps, skirt abysses, walk past trees four centuries old and waterfalls dropping nearly a kilometre into the void.

It is an exploration of the movement billions of human beings repeat every day without paying attention: scrolling.

A minuscule gesture.

A gesture almost invisible.

And yet humanity performs it roughly twenty million times a second.

The summit is at 8,849 metres.

Departure is imminent.
